A story behind a name
A Dhuoda is considered the first fermal medieval writer, who wrote a manuscript for her children about ethics and leadership - called Liber Manualis. This manuscript reflects the moral values of the time, the advice of a mother who wants to guide and protect her a children in a violent and changing world. Dhuoda was the Countess of Barcelona and Duches of Septimania during the 9th Century. Her children went on to become the Dukes of Septimania at a time in history when the tribes of Europe were joining together to form the kingdoms that make up modern-day European countries.
